This Band Box chair is inspired from Microsoft Band 2 – its simplistic design and convenience. As the Microsoft Band 2 has a smooth connected frame, the chair is also designed to stress a form of connection and curved shapes. 

To express its smoothness, every edge parts are rounded and covered with velvet fabric to provide a comfort. The bottom of the chair is designed with metal to represent metal frame of the Band 2 and to provide stable bottom that prevents the demolition of the chair due to person’s weight by holding up the entire chair with two cylindrical parts. The chair is designed for one person, but have a additional special seating box in the hollow of back part, and it can be pulled out to provide additional seat for one more person. Plus, the seating box can be used as storage box by removing the fabricated top. 

This chair is designed to use in the office, library, hotel lobby, and living room where people interacts with others. It is important that the furniture goes along with surrounding environments to provide comfort and lead conversation to desired goals.
